Recap from July and August’s Governing Body Meeting
The ICJ Governing Body met via email in July and virtually in August to continue its work as the main decision-making mechanism for the ICJ Data Collaboration.
At July’s email as meeting, the Governing Body was provided an update on completed ICJ Tech Tool updates and enhancements along with future enhancements in development. Also, the survey results from the ICJ Data Collaboration: Cybersecurity Tabletop Exercise Interest form were shared. Among those who competed the form (19 Governing Body agencies):
- 47% have never conducted a cybersecurity or data breach tabletop exercise.
- 21% were not sure if their organization currently conducts any form of cybersecurity or data breach tabletop exercise.
- 21% currently conduct cybersecurity or data breach tabletop exercise(s).
- 11% have conducted a cybersecurity or data breach tabletop exercise in the past but not currently.
At August’s meeting, the Governing Body reviewed the yearly milestones and feature enhancements of the ICJ Tech Tool. Several data governance updates were shared such as the End User Agreement has been issued to the Navigation Network users with a deadline of August 31, 2023. The Referral Receiver Network will receive the agreement in September 2023. The meeting included summary results from the preliminary discussions on how to operationalize the Vulnerable Population definition with the ICJ Tech Tool and data governance framework which were facilitated by Ajah. Further interviews will be conducted, and the results will be shared at the next meeting.
The next Governing Body meeting will be an email meeting in September followed by virtual meeting on October 18, 2023.

Update on ICJ Tech Tool
Over the summer, leaders from UWGH and PCIC have implemented enhancements and improvements to the ICJ Tech Tool to improve the usability of the platform and improve communication throughout the closed-loop referral process. These features are detailed below:
- Self-Sufficiency and Well-Being Matrix (SSWB) Notes Aggregated View
Users can now view notes made to clients’ SSWB assessments in a concerted way- understanding the full scope of need from the assessment’s results to the additional input recorded by navigators.
- Activate Duplicate Record Match for Pre-Enrolled Clients
Duplicate match now minimizes the chance of enrolling the same client twice, reducing wasted time and confusion when handling client cases en masse.
- Notification Template Enhancement
Notification email templates have been updated and improved to provide accurate and real-time updates to users as progress is made on referrals and other client-journey activities.
These updates provide valuable enhancements to users’ operation of the tool- simplifying the referral management process and streamlining the creation of goals and action steps on behalf of the client. Concurrently, UWGH’s Elias Delgado, has been working diligently to ensure that all prospective users of the platform have been trained and set up with their credentials. As this program continues to expand, and more end users are initiated on the platform, we are excited to see the fruits of an innovative care model blossom! Stay tuned for more updates.
